• I hope Sid the Kid can forgive they guy who gave him his career ending head shot, forever ruining his chances at becoming a lifetime record breaker, hall of fame inductee and a hockey hero to millions of kids. I do not want the guy who gave him that head shot to ever forgive himself. He needs to wake up every single morning, remembering his actions and how it affected the life of Sid. In my opinion, the NHL needs to get down and dirty with any and all head shots. Expel the culprit from the game for life. No second or third chances. If this is drilled into the kids from the moment they put on skates, then head shots will be an unforgettable bad patch in sports history.
